ReBAND is a multi-year global initiative designed to Reclaim, Restory, and Reunite Black, African, and Diaspora identity through culture, creativity, and collective power.
ReBAND — Reclaim. Restory. Reunite. Black, African Nations, and Diaspora — is a multi-year movement conceived by Racecourse Media, a subsidiary of Racecourse Capital, and endorsed by the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC), a parastatal under Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy.
ReBAND is designed to deliver global activations leading into the 50th anniversary of FESTAC ’77 in 2027.
Road to FESTAC is ReBAND’s first project, designed as a global engine reconnecting Africa and its diaspora through creativity, storytelling, talent development, and cultural diplomacy.
The Lagos Kickoff (December 2025) marks the first public unveiling of the movement—an intimate, high-impact moment designed for early supporters, cultural leaders, global brands, and investors to align with Africa’s next defining cultural era.
Africa’s creative economy is valued at $59B yet remains under-structured and under-capitalized—representing less than 3% of the $2T global creative industry and contributing under 1% to Africa’s GDP.
This gap reflects missing infrastructure, monetization pathways, and coordinated global platforms.
ReBAND exists to close that gap.

The return of FESTAC in 2027, hosted by Nigeria, creates a rare global moment to reposition Africa and its diaspora at the center of global cultural leadership.
Beginning in December 2025, ReBAND will roll out global activations on the Road to FESTAC 2027, building momentum toward the Golden Jubilee.
BONNY@TAP is a two-day “Adults’ Playground” festival that blends nostalgia with contemporary culture in a playful, sophisticated environment. As an early soft-launch under the Road to FESTAC banner, it introduces audiences to the movement through immersive, culturally resonant experiences.
